How to Complete Aadhaar KYC on IRCTC 

To unlock the full potential of IRCTC ticket booking, you need to complete Aadhaar KYC. Here are the steps to avail of this facility: 

 Steps to Avail Facility of Booking More Than 12 Tickets and up to 24 Tickets  in a Month 

 1. IRCTC Registered User is required to get themselves Aadhaar verified using the Aadhaar KYC option in My Profile. 

 2. User’s Aadhaar will be verified by sending an OTP to the mobile number linked with the Aadhaar number. Upon successful OTP submission, the user will become Aadhaar verified. 

 3. At least one passenger on the ticket being booked, beyond 12 tickets in a month, should also be Aadhaar verified. 

 4. Users should verify the probable passengers through their respective Aadhaar numbers and store the verified passengers in the passenger master list before starting the ticket booking process beyond 12 tickets in a month.

 5. Users can add Aadhaar verified passengers from the master list at the time of booking to book additional tickets up to 24 tickets in a month. 

Steps to Verify Aadhaar Number

 1.Login using your IRCTC User ID and Password on [www.irctc.co.in](www.irctc.co.in). 

 2.Click on the "Aadhaar KYC" link under the "My Profile" menu.

3.Enter your Aadhaar Number and click on the "Send OTP" button. An OTP will be sent by Aadhaar System (UIDAI) to the mobile number registered with Aadhaar. 

4. Input received  the OTP and click on "Verify."

 5. Click on the "Submit" button to complete the KYC process. Your user will now be Aadhaar verified. 

Steps to Add a Passenger with Aadhaar Number

1. Click on the "Master List" link under the "My Profile" menu.

2. While adding new passengers in the Master List, provide correct and complete details, including Name, Date of Birth, Gender, and Aadhaar number as mentioned in the Aadhaar Card. 

3. Click on the "Submit" button to add and verify Aadhaar details. Passengers will be added to the Master List with a verification status of "Pending." 

4. To check the verification status of Aadhaar details, click on the "Click here to check pending Aadhaar verification status" option provided. 

5. Verification status of passengers who have been successfully verified with their Aadhaar details will be "Verified," and for failed verification status, it will be "Not Verified." 

6. Passengers already available in the Master list without Aadhaar verification can also be verified by using the "Edit" option and submitting complete details, including Aadhaar number. 

Select Aadhaar Verified Passenger While Booking

You can now book tickets without restrictions. However, remember to select at least one Aadhaar verified passenger from the Master List and add them to the Passenger list while booking a ticket.
