 What is Digital Screens???

Digital Screens are interactive displays / LED screens strategically placed at railway stations. They serve as digital museums, offering passengers and visitors a glimpse into the history, culture, and evolution of the Indian Railways.

These screens are strategically placed at the entrance gates of railway stations and various comfort areas within the stations. It not only provides entertainment and education to passengers but also showcases the country's railway legacy in an innovative and engaging way.

This initiative is a testament to the government's commitment to modernising and preserving the cultural heritage of the nation.

How Digital Screens Work

Digital Heritage Screens uses LED screens to present historical content in an engaging manner. They feature one to two-minute movie clips to highlight the architectural marvels, historic locomotives, Past history of a particular station  and other remarkable aspects of Indian Railways' heritage.

In addition to the digital screens,  QR code-based posters dedicated to Railway Heritage are also displayed at stations. Passengers can conveniently scan these QR codes using their mobile devices to access streaming videos showcasing various facets of Railway heritage. This interactive feature allows travellers to delve deeper into the history and cultural significance of the Indian Railways.

In this initiative , At New Delhi and Howrah stations, dedicated heritage video walls are  installed.
